You will need to demonstrate competence in two assessment environments:
- Workplace assessment: Assess occupational competence in a real working environment, including observation of performance, examination of work products and questioning learners.
- Vocational assessment: Assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding using suitable assessment methods within learning, training or vocational settings.
Simulated assessment activities cannot replace the required evidence of occupational competence in a real workplace.
