Coaching
“Coaching is unlocking a person’s potential to maximise their own performance. It is helping them to learn rather than teaching them.”
John Whitmore – Coaching for Performance.
KBC Coaches collaborate with business and professional clients to manage their careers and strategically fulfil and excel in their roles – both at work and in their personal lives – using the Co-Active and GROW Coaching model. Our coaches can work with clients individually or in groups.
Workplace searches and navigating a career path within an organisation are among the services provided to you. Through the use of techniques such as reflection, discussion, and questioning. Coaching is a performance-enhancing process that focuses on the “here and now” rather than the distant past or future. While there are many different coaching models, KBC is focused on the coach as a facilitator of learning rather than the coach as an expert.
There is a significant distinction between teaching and assisting someone in learning. Intrinsically, the coach’s role is to assist the individual in improving their own performance, or to learn. Good coaches believe that each person has the solution to their own problems, but they also recognise that they may require assistance in finding it.
